UNDER CONSTRUCTION, PLEASE BEAR WITH ME

I have had an interest in genealogy for a number of years. While home (Baie Verte, Newfoundland) for my 25^th anniversary school reunion in 1992 in was mentioned that we should have a 50^th anniversary celebration for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary on July 1^st 1995. This was just the motivation I needed to research my family history. Late in 1992 I began to hunt for my ancestors with the thought in mind that I would also search for current unknown relatives.

Once started the bug bit me and I'm still at it today, seven years later! I realize that compared to some of you this is a relatively short time but for me it is a milestone because I have never had a hobby that has held my interest for such a length of time.
